Athlytics — Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of Athlytics, an application operated by Louis Rose LLC ("we," "us," "our"), Cumming, Georgia. By creating an account or using Athlytics, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

Athlytics is a companion to GRID (gridscouting.com). Your use of GRID is governed by GRID's separate Terms.

1. Who may use Athlytics

Athlytics is intended for coaches and team staff. You must be at least 18 years old to create an Athlytics account. Athletes do not create Athlytics accounts.

By creating an account, you confirm that you are authorized to record and manage information for the team you represent.

2. Accounts and team access

You need an account and a team code to access a team. You are responsible for:

  • keeping your password and your team's team code confidential;
  • all activity that occurs under your account; and
  • notifying us promptly at trose@louisrose.org if you believe your account or team code has been compromised.

You may not share your account credentials, or give team access to anyone not authorized by your team's administrator.

3. Your responsibilities regarding athlete information

This is the most important section of these Terms.

By entering or importing athlete information into Athlytics, you represent that:

  • you have the authority to do so on behalf of your team, school, or organization;
  • you have obtained any permissions or parental consents required by your school, organization, league, or applicable law for recording and sharing information about the athletes on your roster — many of whom are minors; and
  • the information you enter is accurate to the best of your knowledge.

You agree to enter only the information Athlytics is designed for — athlete names, jersey numbers, positions, and game statistics. Do not enter medical information, academic records, contact information, or any other sensitive personal information about an athlete.

You agree not to use Athlytics to harass, embarrass, or harm any athlete.

4. Statistics and GRID

Statistics recorded in Athlytics may be shared with the corresponding athlete's GRID profile. Once in GRID, that information is governed by GRID's Terms and Privacy Policy, and the athlete controls what appears publicly on their GRID profile.

Statistics recorded in Athlytics are coach-recorded and are not official statistics. They are not verified by any school, league, or governing body. We do not guarantee their accuracy, and they should not be relied upon as an official record.

5. Subscriptions and payment

Access to Athlytics may require a paid subscription, either as an add-on to a qualifying GRID program plan or as a standalone purchase. Pricing and included features are presented at the time of purchase.

  • Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled.
  • Purchases made through the Apple App Store are subject to Apple's terms, and are managed and canceled through your App Store account settings.
  • Purchases made through our website are processed by our payment provider and managed through your account.
  • Except where required by law or by the applicable app store's policies, fees are non-refundable.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use Athlytics for any unlawful purpose;
  • access or attempt to access another team's data;
  • reverse engineer, decompile, interfere with, or disrupt the app or its infrastructure;
  • use automated means to access, scrape, or extract data from the app; or
  • resell, sublicense, or provide the service to third parties without our written permission.

7. Our intellectual property

Athlytics — including its software, design, branding, and content we provide — is owned by Louis Rose LLC and protected by applicable law. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app for its intended purpose while your account is active.

Your team's data remains yours. We claim no ownership over the rosters and statistics you enter, and we use them only as described in our Privacy Policy.

8. Availability and changes

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of Athlytics at any time. We may also update these Terms; when we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date, and material changes will be communicated through the app or by email. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

9. Termination

You may stop using Athlytics and request deletion of your account at any time by contacting trose@louisrose.org.

We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, if your subscription lapses, or if we reasonably believe your use puts an athlete's safety or data at risk.

10. Disclaimers

Athlytics is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that recorded statistics will be accurate or complete.

Athlytics is a record-keeping tool. We make no representation that using Athlytics or GRID will result in any recruiting outcome, scholarship, roster spot, or other opportunity for any athlete.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Louis Rose LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, opportunity, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of Athlytics.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to Athlytics will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for Athlytics in the twelve months before the claim, or (b) one hundred U.S. dollars ($100).

12. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Louis Rose LLC from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of Athlytics, your violation of these Terms, or your entry of athlete information without the required authority or consent.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Georgia, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
